In Memory of Dr. EMMA (Arsenal Rwanda)
Dr. Emmanuel Sefuku Hafashimana a.k.a Kunde, fondly known as Dr. Emma, was one of the founding pillars of RAFC. He was a driving force behind the core values and activities that define our organization today—promoting unity, supporting those in need, commemorating the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and strengthening our bond through sports and brotherhood. It’s no exaggeration to say that much of who we are today is because of him.
Tall, graceful, soft-spoken, yet strong in presence, Dr. Emmanuel was more than a leader—he was a father figure to RAFC. His loss has left a deep and lasting void that can never truly be filled.
We gather here today, two years since his passing, because of the foundation he laid. We miss him more than words can express. And yet, by living out the values he stood for, we still feel his presence among us.
He was RAFC, and RAFC was him. He served this family with unmatched devotion—always giving more than 100%, always believing in unity above all.
We will remain united. To fall apart would be to give up on everything he believed in, and we will never do that.
In Memory of Areba (Arsenal Kenya)
John Areba joined Arsenal Kenya in 2011 and he was among the first 30 members who founded Arsenal Kenya. He was very active in all Arsenal Kenya events including the Africa festival, and was largely liked by everyone because of his outgoing nature.he had in-depth knowledge of football was in Arsenal Kenya football team and left his mark as a caring and humourous Gooner before he succumbed to injuries after an accident in 2024.
In Memory of Mutwiri (Arsenal Kenya)
Bazoo a.k.a MUTWIRI joined Arsenal Kenya in 2016 from Arsenal Kenya Meru ,a town near Mt Kenya where was among the branch founders.He was largely known in Meru because he also ran a popular electronics shop .He rarely missed Arsenal Kenya events and just like Areba his last national event festival in Dar es salaam.
He succumbed to complications after stomach surgery
